Sea Buckthorn and Oatmeal Rolls
Put some extra flavour into your oatmeal rolls with sea buckthorns and apricot.
- 1 oz yeast
- 1 carton sea buckthorn-apricot Berrie
- 10 3/5 oz water (brimming)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 4/5 oz syrup
- 4/5 cup oatmeal
- 3 cups bun flour (brimming)
- 3 1/2 oz cooking oil
Mix together Berrie and water. Then dissolve yeast into the liquid. Stir in syrup and salt. Gradually add oatmeal and flour. Knead and towards the end add cooking oil. Knead the dough thoroughly. Allow to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Form the dough into round rolls and place them on a baking sheet. Allow to rise for another half hour. Bake at 430–440° for about 10 minutes.
