Pleasantly Hot Sea Buckthorn Mustard
Making your own mustard is easy and unleashes the creativity within. Adding some Sea Buckthorn - Apricot Berrie gives it a northern taste.
- 1/3 cup mustard powder (brimming)
- 1/3 cup sugar (brimming)
- 2 tbsp potato flour
- 3 1/2 oz water (brimming)
- 1–2 tbsp vinegar (depending on the desired strength)
- 1 egg
- 1 4/5 oz sea buckthorn-apricot Berrie
Mix dry ingredients in a saucepan. Add water, vinegar, egg and Berrie. Mix thoroughly. Heat mustard to a boil, stirring continuously. Remove from heat. Allow to cool and mix a few more times as the mustard is cooling to ensure even texture.
