Pleasantly Hot Sea Buckthorn Mustard

Making your own mustard is easy and unleashes the creativity within. Adding some Sea Buckthorn - Apricot Berrie gives it a northern taste.

  • 1/3 cup mustard powder (brimming)
  • 1/3 cup sugar (brimming)
  • 2 tbsp potato flour
  • 3 1/2 oz water (brimming)
  • 1–2 tbsp vinegar (depending on the desired strength)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 4/5 oz sea buckthorn-apricot Berrie

Mix dry ingredients in a saucepan. Add water, vinegar, egg and Berrie. Mix thoroughly. Heat mustard to a boil, stirring continuously. Remove from heat. Allow to cool and mix a few more times as the mustard is cooling to ensure even texture.
